Rakhee is a Pharmacist with over 20 years of experience in regulatory affairs working in both industry for Eli Lilly and Amgen and for the last 8 years in consultancy for several pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Rakhee started her career in regulatory affairs with a multinational company in South Africa. She quickly progressed to a senior level when she was offered the opportunity to move to the United Kingdom in 2005 to work in the EU region.

Rakhee is strategic with a motto to implement with quality, speed and excellence. She has advised on product development in numerous therapeutic areas, driving them through the different European regulatory processes. Rakhee has partnered with clients to work on specific development strategies including the preparation, planning and attendance of Scientific Advice meetings, Orphan and PIP applications and Oral Explanations. Rakhee has a keen interest in developing regulatory professionals and she has supported clients by mentoring staff on European regulatory matters.

Rakhee founded Regulatory Specialist Consulting in 2012, with the main aim of offering a bespoke and solutions based regulatory affairs experience to her clients.
